Johnny Drille: The Next Big Thing?

When Brymo stopped over at Toolz’s ‘Mid-day Show’ on the Beat 99.9 FM, to promote his new album, Klitoris, he mentioned Johnny Drille, who is an upcoming act, as one of his current favorite Nigerian acts.

And considering the level of talent Johnny has displayed in recent years, Brymo’s stamp is not misplaced.

He is an alumni of MTN’s Project Fame as he and Niniola– who is doing pretty well at the moment- featured in the 6^th edition (2013) and while she placed 4^th, he clocked out at the 5^th position.

Not only is he a superb singer, whose voice plays comfortably with different genres, he plays the piano and produces for other artistes as well.

As the earth revolves, some of those who are ‘hot and popping’ right now, wouldn’t be as wanted in the future, making way for new acts and Johnny, if he plays his cards right, already has a spot in that future. He is, definitely, one to watch out for.
